destinations are endless and the wanderlust in me wants to see and do it all.
THE BACKSTORY...
A family move to Japan as a teen and 3 years traveling the Far East sealed the deal and I knew a life of travel was my
destiny. A history degree and 26 year career as a flight attendant perfectly complimented my life-long passion for travel, knowledge and exploration and were the foundation for Plane Jane Travel.
FAVORITE TRAVEL COMPANIONS...
While living in Hawaii, a fateful encounter with a US naval officer (who was equally passionate about travel)
changed the trajectory of my life. 30+ years later, 2 awesome kids in tow and too many trips to count, we are
still enthusiastic travelers planning our next great adventure.
THE PASSION...
As a history buff, avid animal lover and active rescuer, I have scoured the globe to see as many historical artifacts as possible while combining my passion for animals into my travels. From visiting elephant and sloth bear rescues in India to swimming with whale sharks in the Maldives, trekking gorillas and chimps in Africa and observing kangaroos and crocs in the Outback of Australia; I embrace every opportunity to learn about and support animal rescue and conservation.

Plane Jane Travel organized our trip to South Africa where we explored Capetown, the breathtaking landscapes of the Winelands and embarked on an amazing safari! Every step of the way we were greeted with warm hospitality and a phenomenal sense of adventure. Our guides were knowledgeable and very passionate about conservation. Each game drive was a great experience and learning moment and the animals were awe inspiring; especially the elusive African wild dogs! Every moment of our trip was filled with wonder, excitement, gourmet dining and exceptional service and all aspects of our trip were meticulously planned and created unforgettable experiences. We will definitely go back and have Jane plan our trip!!

Alaska
I can not say enough great things about Jane and PJT. Jane planned our Alaska trip with just a few weeks notice. This was not a lot of time to pull off everything she did for our group (and even squeezed my daughter in for part of the trip!) She was so patient with us and put together a trip of a lifetime that hit everyone's individual bucket-list items! Jane scheduled 15 days of the most beautiful sights and activities that had us in "awe" everyday! Every detail was worked out and she had even taken note that one of us had a birthday during the trip. We can't wait for Jane to work her magic on our next trip!

Australia/New Zealand
Jane planned our two-week family vacation to both New Zealand and Australia. We knew this was a big ask to cover so much ground in just two weeks but Jane executed it perfectly! Her attention to detail was incredible as she took the time to get to know our family and customize the perfect trip. There were adventures suited to everyone’s likes and it truly was the trip of a lifetime. Anyone who travels frequently has experienced issues somewhere along the way and ours was no different on the second part of our trip to Port Douglas on the eastern coast of Australia. Unfortunately, a cyclone had struck the area causing devastating flooding. We were still enjoying our trip in New Zealand and completely oblivious to the weather event when Jane reached out to us. She assured us not to worry as she worked furiously to adjust the itinerary and that is exactly what she did! Before we knew it; all the transportation, hotel and scheduled adventures were rebooked to the safer, nearby area of Cairns which we enjoyed immensely. That would not have been possible without Jane’s help and expertise. The end result was the perfect family vacation that we will not forget. Thank you PJT!

United Kingdom
Jane did a fantastic job of making a longtime travel dream to the UK come true for my mom and me. She took the time to get to know us and discover our tastes, interests, travel preferences and the things we most wanted to see and do in London and Edinburgh. Her experience and enthusiasm for traveling in the UK ensured our trip was customized to us with a few happy surprises thrown in. She was as excited about our trip as we were and introduced us to experiences we may have missed otherwise. Having Jane plan the trip from start to finish took the pressure off us to do extensive research and helped us avoid missteps and stay within budget during our limited time in the UK.
